Amymi Musica Launches UnGenre Records with Debut EP “Distorted Thoughts”

Illogic Radio is proud to announce the upcoming debut EP from our dynamic resident, Amymi Musica. Titled “Distorted Thoughts,” this release marks a significant double milestone as it introduces her new techno sound. Furthermore, it signals the official launch of her independent imprint, UnGenre Records. Consequently, the electronic music community is buzzing with anticipation for this April 17th drop.

Amymi Musica has never been an artist to stay within traditional lines. She is well-known for her “Mutation Mode” show here on Illogic Radio. Her style represents a high-energy fusion of Techno, Trance, and melodic elements. This unique sonic blend is a sound she officially calls “UnGenre.”

Previously, her productions have reached the Beatport Hype Top 100 and the Top 100 Techno (Peak Time / Driving) Main Charts. These successes came through powerful releases on labels like Bully beatz  Recordings, Red Channel Records, Redlof Records (Stoner Series), Synchronic Recordings, LETS TECHNO Records, Aros Records, Hautbox Records and more. Now, Amymi Musica is taking full creative control of her output.

UnGenre Records was born from a specific personal philosophy. She aims to share beautiful music, pure soul, and positive energy. Therefore, the label prioritizes emotional sound design and futuristic energy. Unlike many modern imprints, it avoids rigid genre labels. Additionally, the label serves as a platform for tracks that bridge the gap between various electronic sub-genres.

Home of the unboxed and undiscovered, UnGenre Records is an independent electronic music label focused on techno and trance. Blending past and future sounds into a raw, sub-genre-merging fluid approach, the label’s sound combines energetic rolling rhythms, progressive melodies, emotional breakdowns, and hypnotic elements with driving energetic drops, designed for dance floor moments as well as deeper listening contexts.
