Beginning his career as a DJ in 1992 on a local FM radio station in his hometown, Jerry Kay soon gained experience playing in local clubs. Recognizing limited opportunities, he relocated to Naples, where his career truly took off. He became a resident at some of the best clubs in southern Italy and established himself as a producer for important labels like Flying Record. His tracks were featured on renowned compilations such as Café del Mar and Bacardi, and he delivered remixes for top artists including Gloria Estefan, Richie Havens, IIO, and Snap. During this period, he also served as a guest DJ for networks like Kiss Kiss and Radio Ibiza and won numerous DJ competitions.
Driven by a passion for production and composition, he expanded his work to include radio networks such as Radio Selene, Tam Tam, and Radio Company. He composed for many electro bands, both as a member and a collaborator. His career as a solo artist officially began in 2006 with his first track, “Welcome to Hell,” and his debut solo album, “ElectroDream.” Following this success, he composed soundtracks for films and short films, collaborating with both Italian and foreign directors and solidifying his reputation as one of Italy’s most active producers.
He continued his prolific output with the release of his 2011 album, “AUtomat,” and numerous tracks such as “Toxic,” “Who You Are,” “You Can Do It,” and “Come Out,” all of which reached excellent positions in the European DJ charts. His music, which spans Electro, Complextro, Hard and Dirty Electro House, Nu Disco, and Electronica, is currently published by several prominent labels, including Linda Record, Only The Best Record, Smilax, Soundrise Record, Italian Way Music, Emi, and Carlo Cavalli Music Group.
