Ross Roys: From Master Percussionist to Electronic Innovator

Ross Roys is a prominent Italian producer and DJ. Her journey to the decks began with professional percussion. Before dominating the electronic scene, she toured Europe as a master percussionist. This “rhythm-first” philosophy remains the heartbeat of her current production style.

Driven by a profound calling toward electronic music, Ross Roys elevated her technical mastery through intensive studies at the Live Music Academy in Sarzana.

She also trained at Federico Simonazzi’s renowned Alar’s Recording Studio in Parma. Later, she attended the prestigious Tenax Academy and a specialized Pioneer DJ workshop in Ibiza.

Evolution of Sound and Production

Since her 2018 debut, Ross Roys has consistently caught the attention of industry taste makers. Industry leaders like Luca Guerrieri and Anthony M. supported her singles. Both artists provided remixes of her work. Electronic pioneer Gianni Bini mastered additional tracks in a collaborative effort.

In 2021, she solidified her industry footprint by launching Ross Roys Records, a creative label dedicated to driving beats and innovative soundscapes.

Since then, her discography has evolved into a sophisticated blend of Tech-House and Melodic Techno, culminating in the December 2024 release of “I Feel You” under the Orgasmixxx label.

Performance Highlights and Global Presence

The Ross Roys brand is defined by innovation. During the 2021 season, she went beyond the booth. She pioneered the digital series “@ the window.” This 16-episode project that transformed the traditional DJ set into a multidisciplinary talk show. It successfully reached thousands of viewers worldwide.

Her sound resonates across iconic dance floors. She has played at Ibiza’s legendary sunset spots, including Mambo Studio, Dune, and Hush. Additionally, she holds high-profile residencies

Since September 2023, Ross Roys has remained a consistent force in the Italian club scene. She performs regularly at notable venues like the iconic Duplè Paura in Aulla.

Her rise in the scene is marked by high-profile appearances at elite techno events, sharing the decks with legends such as Roland Brant, Alessandro Tognetti, and Marco May. Her collaborative presence also extends to performances with Francesco Zappala, Sandro Vibot, Roberto Francesconi, and Pitta DJ.

Award-Winning Momentum

Following her participation in the Tour Music Fest in Milan in August 2023, Ross Roys experienced a significant professional breakthrough. She reached the San Marino “Grand Final” after an intense selection process. This achievement placed her among the top six DJ producers in the contest.

This momentum accelerated throughout 2024. DJ Mag Italia selected her for the Demolition Panel at MIR Rimini in April. Later in June, she secured an impressive second-place finish at the “KEcontest” in Modena.
