JES

JES is an award-winning singer, songwriter, DJ, and producer from the USA. Her soulful voice and confessional songwriting quickly caught the attention of the electronic dance music (EDM) scene in the mid-2000s, leading to collaborations with pioneers like Paul van Dyk. This early work helped transition dance music from clubs to international charts.

Her collaboration with producers Gabriel & Dresden resulted in the legendary track “As The Rush Comes,” released under the name Motorcycle. The song topped international charts, earned her an International Dance Music Award, and brought her to the attention of Tiesto, who signed her to his label, Black Hole Recordings. JES then launched a solo career, releasing the albums Disconnect (2007) and High Glow (2010), which produced multiple hit singles, including a Billboard #1 track. She toured extensively with Tiesto and has collaborated with a roster of top-tier DJs, including Armin Van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, and Ferry Corsten.

JES has received two Grammy nominations and numerous songwriting awards for her work. In 2015, she founded her own label, Intonenation Records. Its debut release, “Hold On,” went on to earn her a third Grammy nomination.
